NorthStar GA Properties is a family-owned company acquiring, developing, and stewarding destination properties throughout Georgia — a small collection of extraordinary places, chosen one at a time.
It started with a place we couldn't forget.
Like most Georgia families, ours measured its years by certain places — a lake house where three generations crowded onto one porch, a small town square where Sunday afternoons went on forever, a mountain road that turned the drive itself into part of the vacation.
Those places did something for us that no purchase ever had: they slowed us down, gathered us together, and gave our stories a setting. When we began looking at real estate, we found ourselves asking a different question than the market was asking. Not what a property could earn, but what a property could mean.
NorthStar GA Properties is our answer. We are a family that decided to spend its time, capital, and care on a handful of Georgia's most remarkable places — and to hold them the way families hold heirlooms: patiently, proudly, and with an eye on the generation that comes next.

We build on timescales most people don't think in.
We are deliberately multigenerational in how we look at every property. The decisions we make — what to restore, what to preserve, what to build — will outlive our involvement. That fact disciplines everything we do.
It means we buy patiently and improve carefully. It means we favor timeless character over whatever is fashionable this season. And it means we measure success in decades: a property that hosts a family's reunion in 2055 the way it hosts one today, only better cared for.
Ownership is stewardship.
We believe that whoever holds a remarkable place is briefly its caretaker. The land was working long before us — the mountain, the water, the oaks — and it will go on working long after. Our job is to leave it better than we found it, and to make sure the people who gather there leave better too.
In practice, this means we invest in craftsmanship over shortcuts, in the land's health alongside the guest experience, and in the communities around our properties as neighbors rather than outsiders. Stewardship is not a department for us. It is the reason we own anything at all.
